achilles aches and shin splints?

I know I haven't really been posting much lately (er this week XD), and that's because it's Mah-Jhong marathon week at my house; we only play mah-jhong like once a year when my grandparents visit, and of course, you need 4 people to play, me and my 'rents are only 3.

Also, I've been doing quite a bit of tennis these couple weeks as well for a couple early hours in the morning, even though I've officially been diagnosed with shin splints and my achilles tendons are still healing from those stupid running shoes that were apprently digging into my achilles, causing the pain. Anyone find good remedies for both that doesn't involve drugs (anti-inflammatory drugs)?

I'm going to finally upload what I've done so far for a snowboard design... the contest ended in January, and I found out about it a couple days before the end date, so I decided to work on ideas for the next contest.
Also going to upload rough sketches of the Jack Skellington clay project I've been planning for a while?
