I wish that you were here,
to hold me tight
and tell me that it wasn't a waste of money,
and that I should keep trying.

I wish you could be around,
to say that I'm not a failure
and to calmly say in my ear,
don't give up.

I wish you could remark on the fact
that I'm not failing my weakest subjects,
and that it's really just an illusion
that's playing tricks with my mind.

I wish that you were sitting by my side,
to stop the tears running down my face,
and to help me forget about the pain from the ill
that's wreaking havoc upon me.

I wish that you could be my little angel
always there for me when i need you,
there to keep telling me
I don't need everything to be perfect.




But wishes...don't always come true.
